Created for designers by designers, Designer Sobriety aims to offer the creative community advice and create conversation on a variety of topics that relates to its profession. A modest website was originally created to act as a landing site for these tips, which covered a range of topics from business and networking to creativity and more.

Now, Designer Sobriety is striving to build this community that started with a Twitter following. The new robust blog offers a wider variety of articles that will facilitate everyday creative business, including efficiencies in the office (managerial, inspirational and practical), how to have a life outside of design, and how to build a culture that’s worth working in. Also included are links to other design world resources outside of DS. In addition to these tools, Designer Sobriety hopes to create conversation where designers can help each other.

Our readers are based around the world but most make their homes here in the U.S. They are primarily folks in the creative industry that are looking for a way to balance their passion for design with their lives.
